Hubby had been out last night & he returned home just as the cats were going to bed,Shimba decided it was a no,no & sat on the back of the settee with hubby & just chirruped, purred & kissed for England.It was great to see because if we have been out together it is always me who gets this reception on return so it was nice to see the other half on the receiving end.
I can't decide who looks the most happy, it makes going out in this weather worth it to get that welcome home.
The hubby looks most dapper in his dicky bow too!!
He hates wearing it but he plays drums with a local band that goes out & does charity fund raising functions etc.He felt at home last night because it was an OAP's xmas party....{ I didn't write that bit } the cats did !

Yep you could be right Antonia,he used to be out walking the dogs at 5AM in the morning & as much as they were loved he did say he didn't use to miss it in the bad weather having to go out that early,I used to take on the afternoon session,a lot more civalised....
