Funny poses whilst sleeping
I have so much fun watching Walter trying to sleep in my lap. He often tries to sleep in a sitting upright position, but as he relaxes he starts to fall backwards which -- of course, causes him to wake and sit back up (first four pictures). The process then gets repeated, sometimes several times. Eventually, he seems to get tired of it and settles into a more settled position -- and many of those are funny positions (sixth picture)
The pictures taken on the 22nd were shot with my left hand as Walter rested on the right arm so apologies for the photos.
I'm also including a picture of my MC baby with my human baby (she is 16 years old).

Thanks, everyone.
Peter, your response made me laugh out loud. Our furry friends certainly can look pretty dumb -- but sometimes I think they are too smart! The other day, my Walter jumped off the back of my recliner on to a table (which is off limits) then over to my desk (also off limits) across the desk and back onto the floor before I could grab the squirt bottle. THREE times. But when he jumped back up on the back of the recliner and I grabbed the squirt bottle, he just looked at the bottle and wouldn't make the jump. I swear he was laughing at me!
I also liked #6 the best. On Facebook, one of my friend's reaction to it was ' That's a happy cat!' Indeed. I think jckkerrison's comment is spot on: 'a relaxed, happy & contented babe' -- that's probably why I like that particular picture so much.
Happy Christmas to everyone!
