Hi Wareagle, I'm still chuckling over your post, it's so funny! What a gorgeous great big cuddly lad you have there, he looks in fabulous condition with his shiny coat. He indeed looks most contented to be on your shoulders. I take it that he doesn't do this with anyone else? You are the favoured one! Aren't they funny. Merry Christmas!

Gosh... Mr Paws looks ever so regal.
Your pics remind me of one of the cats we had when I was a little girl. Miss Millie was a very large moggy, black with white paws and a white ‘jabot’, just like your Mr Paws. And she was a daddy’s girl as well. When my dad came home from work and she heard him open the front door, she raced down the stairs and climbed onto his shoulder. I still remember my dad coming up the stairs with Miss Millie wrapped around his neck. He absolutely adored that cat!

Merry Christmas to all.
Candes .... Mr. Paws likes to be up high so riding on my shoulders gives him a good view. His favorite position though is laying in my lap, sprawled on his back with all four feet stretched out with me scratching his belly. He will lay their for hours or until mommy rattles his food bowl.
Howlinbob & Antonia ...... He does spend most of his time with me, however, he also loves my Dad. When he comes over he sits on Daddy's shoulder while Dad eats. Dad has never been a cat person, but he loves our MC's.

Daddy's boy
Now you need another cat who will become Mommy's boy (or girl)
Our 2 kitties made an agreement between themselves who is going to be Mommy's or Daddy's girl, and they never violate this rule, although we love them both equally.

Halcyon,
We thought that too, so we welcomed Uncle Munson into our home.
He turned out to be his "own" cat. He is very loving but on his terms and on his schedule!!!!
He is a beautiful boy. He has the fluffiest tail I have ever seen. Munson is a pig too. he will eat anything you give him. It is funny watching him and Paws eat. Uncle Munson will stick his head in Mr. Paws' bowl and Paws will take his huge foot and pull his bowl away from him.

Sounds familiar, Dan. We have friends who are usually non-cat-friendly and leave our cats well alone, but they have really taken notice of Larry and Monty, saying 'but they're not like ordinary cats'. I suppose it's because MC kittens are so nice-natured and engaging.
My in-laws are in their 70's and have had cats all their lives, including pedigree British blues, and even they say 'they are not like other cats, they are their own species'.

Love the shoulder photos. Our girl Bella likes to ride on my back. Began as her avoidance tactic when I would try to carry her inside when she was outside with me, but now has become something she just likes to do. Wish I could get her to ride higher up on my shoulders as Mr Paws does. What happens when he is 20 lbs, though?
