Also, what does amber / red etc mean and why do you need to move them from one stage onto the next? Surely when they are pooping / peeing on the toilet, thats job done?

Tomiam: As Winston was already litter trained I swopped the L.K for his old litter tray leaving it on the floor of the bathroom beside the toilet. There are 3 stages to using it and if you look at this video you will see how the different stages work.

After the litter kwitter was on the ground for 1 day, I placed it on the toilet with a step for Winston to use (he is still pretty small). I then got some treats and got him to jump up on the litter kwitter with the promise of a treat. He was using it straight away! It's the easiest stage to use and he had no reservation about hopping up on the toilet to use his litter tray

The amber stage will be more of a challenge as this is where you replace the red disc insert with an amber disc, which has a small hole cut out in it. This is to train the kitty to poop and pee in the toilet whilst balancing themselves. Apparently this is the stage where they rebel most until they get the hang of it!
