Thread: "Am I Maine Coon or not ?!?"

Hey there, and welcome.

He's ever so cute - love the first photo lounging about on a lap, and the close up of his little paws is adorable. Can see some MC-type traits in there - like the ear and toe tofts, and maybe the shape of his little face. There's something about the length of his coat that makes me wonder if he's a mix rather than pure breed. Can't put my finger on it though, which is unhelpful! There are a couple of other breeds you might want to swot up on too, as they're similar to MC's - Siberians and Norweigan Forest cats - both can have some strong similarities to MC's.

Whatever he is, he looks very playful, very loving and VERY content; he also looks very pleased with himself to have found you! What's he called? And what's his background story if you adopted him?

I think he looks enchanting! Lovely color, and the expression of a naughty little elf.
Judging by the shape of the face, ears and eyes I'd sooner think Norwegian Forest Cat than MC. You can find out more about the differences here.
