MC with shorter than average tail?

I have a part MC I think.....Will post pics later but I gave some info on her in the introductions section

I know MC's are known for many things with their big, long bushy tail being one of those.
With mine, her tail is actually quite short..Like shorter than an average cats tail...

I'm actually just wondering how many full MC's actually have shorter than normal tails?

Hi I had a lovely solid blue boy and he had a short tail too... my guess is that somewhere lost in the mists of time some Persain went into the breed mix and it sometimes resurfaces

LOL, That IS a long tail!! I just measured Phoenix and her tail come up around 10 inches...It just looks so short on her...

Yes our MJ a Blue had a shorter than normal tail his sister and Black Tortie and Brother and red and white all had perfect tail.. Think that blue gene is lurking in the back somewhere!!
