I have to say I was very surprised too when the breeder said he would be neutered before he comes but she said her vet has been doing it in cats that young for 20 years and assures me it is OK. I am having my bitch spayed on Friday and she is a year old. I'm OK with it though at least he will be able to recover in somewhere he knows well and with his mum and siblings.

Mine came vacinated but not neutered / spayed. Errr.. as Im writing this, Storvenn is nicking the carrots off my plate!! Didnt think he would touch them!!! Ah well..

Im planning on waiting until 6 months until we get them (Storvenn & Loki) chipped n snipped. Thats when most of the info Ive read has said its the earliest to do it. We have male + female so will gladly take advice from anyone with knowledge on the hows / whys of which timescale is best.
