I agree, he looks so forlorn in that middle picture like his spirit is broken it's a blessing to see him well fed and well loved.

The middle and the last photo don't even look like the same cat! Well done on making him look so good. I have to agree also about the intelligent comment - at the moment Mufasa is being rescued for the fourth time this afternoon from behind the cupboard in the living room. I'm getting fed up with shouting "you're too big"!

Oh dear, that middle picture... the sadness in his eyes. I think you did a super job rescuing him and taking care of him so well.
I have two girls and a bloke, and the difference in intelligence is quite striking. El Monto is funny, sweet and friendly, but by far the bluntest tool in the box. In fact I sometimes think I should rename him Tim... Nice-But-Dim.

As requested and very overdue...I apologise some more pictures of my beautiful Bigfoot Nero! He continues to amaze us all with how well hes adjusts to life with us! He is a spoilt little podgy prince now and is being put on a diet! He loves nothing more than snoozing and playing with his toys! If we're not around he'll run the entire length of the room to kill it himself. He's still a clumsy clown but we love him, even if he still has no idea how big he is! I love waking up in the morning to snuggles and little chirrips from him
Please send good vibes to us, he's off to work with me tomorrow for some blood tests as his gums are a littler paler than I would like (and I'm a panicky mummy!) so going to have to clip off some off his beautiful mane

Fingers crossed for him & I do hope he didn't loose too much of that beautiful ruff, when I had Bruce blood tested I let the boss shave a fair bit off but any of the show cats he knows he has to plaster the area well with spirit & have a good eye, no clipping allowed.
Vibes are heading your way Nero from all of us here & hope "Panicky mummy" is coping, you are looking very well in your photos so do hope it is just that "Panic".....
Know how your mum feels though....x
