Thread: Ownership Papers

We breed chihuahuas now and then when they are sold and the new owner picks them up, we hand over a printed pedigree, the change of ownership form and 4 weeks free insurance. I got my MC kitten on 26 April 2011 got no papers until 2-3 phone calls later,and then only got a pedigree on 25 Sept. I still haven't got a transfer of ownership form. Therefore the cat still belongs to the breeder as she says she transfers all the litter to their new owners at the same time ??? Is this normal procedure with cat breeders?
