Indoor MC's do get a winter coat & in the case of one of mine he gets it in the summer,there is another thread on here where other members also have back to front coated cats...... Snowshoes,the only thing I can say is that the two of mine that have got super examples have never lost them at all they just get longer & silkier the others vary between being bare pawed & wearing sandals so haven't really taken any notice of theirs....x
