Thread: Adopting a kitten in two weeks!

Hi,

I am new to the forum and will be a new owner to a Main coon kitten in two weeks! I've had cats before (about 9) in the past when I was young at different times. However, I have never had a Main coon. I have been reading about how this breed is different than other cats and I am very interested to know how different they are from other cats. What do I need to know before adopting a Main coon?

I am adopting mine from a local private breeder and she has an adorable litter of kittens ready to go home in two weeks. I also was wondering if there is any difference between having a male or female?
