    Hi suebob28

We use wood pellets as we found that normal / fine cat litter can stick to their trousers if they have an upset / runny tum ... it was a total nightmare trying to pick individual bits off their trousers :-((
We had to give up in the end and severely trim the botty area until things settled down

Worlds Best Multi Cat for us - even though we only have one cat! We find it doesn't track or smell and best of all the clumps can be flushed down the loo. The downside is that it is expensive but it does last a long time between litter changes. We didn't like the normal yellow Worlds Best because that did track and yellow footprints seemed to appear on paint work etc. Trouble is that everyone will have different preferences and some will have cats who are allergic or refuse to use different types of litter. It's like the 'which food' question really lol!

We've been using the pine pellets for years. We used Feline Pine but recently discovered that the pine pellets used for horse bedding works the same. Same stuff, but a lot cheaper.

I would agree with Fozzie that World's Best Cat Litter is my own preferred litter and it has the added advantage of being able to be burned in our solid fuel stove (we have a septic tank and don't flush cat litter). Having said that - none of my trio can be persuaded to use it for some reason. Max held a dirty protest on the floor beside the tray until I went back to Sophisticat clumping. Again it's very expensive but odour free and very economical.

We also use Worlds Best, but also Catsan for our tom as it seems to hold the smell better. Worlds Best is economical and lasts for quite a while but eventually goes to powder as the larger pieces are scooped out with the waste. It is very easy to dispose of - wet goes into our recycling bin, solids can go down the loo though we don't do that often, and has made a huge difference to the amount of rubbish in our bin.

We use breeders select recycled paper pellets. They can be flushed and as the pellets are quite big, tracking doesnt seem to be a problem. Just the odd ones that get kicked out of the tray. Its £10 for a 20L bag which lasts 3-4 weeks! : )

We tried quite a few and found wood pellets to be the best . We use Ocado own brand but haven't found there to be a huge difference between the brans.
