Hi, I have the miele cat and dog- also works very well and has a 'quiet ' mode that helps if you have animals that hate the hoover!! Actually, my 5 1/2 month kitten sprawls around on the areas of wooden floor, so I must admit to being tempted to just swirl him around with my feet, to act as a duster!

I had a dyson but found it to heavy to cope with so like bluey went for the miele cat & dog one & get on brilliantly with it,nice & light to use & does a good job.....

Def Dyson Animal upright - the only thing we've found that works! I have no idea how they make so much mess when I brush them several times a week. Although I did catch Sunshine pulling out Moonlight's fur the other day - and she seemed to be enjoying him doing it

I have the Dyson as well and recently added a Neato vacuum robot. That thing works wonders!!! Runs once a day, keeps the boys entertained and I only have to use Mr Dyson once a week for the hard to reach bits....
