Which Vacuum?
So while my search continues, looking to the practical aspect of a MC and the cleaning up of the hair.
I have a bog standard electrolux copy which is ok at best bit shoddy, so was wondering what hooves people have success with hoovering up after the MC fur?
Thanks

Dyson Animal. Its expensive, but well worth the money. I've had mine for several years and it keeps my house pretty fur and dust free.

Its just the Dyson Animal, its purple and grey. Here's a link via Amazon to the mid-range model, there are a few ranging from £260 to £400:

There is also a cylinder version if you prefer:

I recently bought the Dyson DC41 Animal
Dyson DC41 Animal
This was after our Vax upright couldnt take the strain anymore. I agree with the above post that the Dyson may be expensive but its well worth the money (and it comes with 5 year parts & labour guarantee).
Best of all Duffy is fascinated by it. She used to hide from the old vacuum but now she likes to jump on the Dyson for a ride!

I too have the DC41 animal, having recently replaced my old Dyson which was a bit heavy. They are not the cheapest but they are absolutely the best as far as I'm concerned.
I particularly like the the little turbo attachment for vacuuming the furniture.Visit us at www.longwalkclark.co.uk

Will give it a look, though just taken mine apart and found what can only be described as a mountain of dust in it, so cleaned it out, but watching a number of Dyson on ebay at the moment so will see what happens
