Do you clip/cut your MC claws??
Just wondering is it ok to clip my MC claws? If so whats the best age to start?
Reason for cutting is scratching eachother and causing possible damage to eachother? At the moment the whole family look like we self harm the lil tinkers run up our legs scratch our hands n arms lol (yes all part n parcel of kittens we know lol)
with them being house cats im also wondering they dont need such sharp claws as there not climbing trees jumping fences and so on,
if not its fine we will just wrap the lil darlings in bubble wrap lol as i say my main concern is them hurting eachother
thanks for any advice

I clip Whiskey's nails about every 10-15 days while he's sleeping. He'll allow me to finish one paw before totally waking up & pulling his paw away. I then do the other paw the next day. He is now 1.5 yrs old & seems to have learned to not use his nails while playing with us. But at 4am he definitely has learned to use one nail on my foot to wake me. There are some good how-to videos on YouTube showing how to push the nail out & clip them. If you can't see the quick, you may want to just clip off the very tips.

I clip all the claws of mine regularly & from day one of having babes I always handle their feet,MC's luv having their feet tickled anyway so all helps for upending them on your laps & going a step further to clipping nails, none of mine bother not even the 10kg + boys as it is turned into a cuddle & whisper in the ear bonding session, think we both luv it especially when they then put their foot into your face to be blown on.....fetish or what....! x
