One of my MC's does the same thing! Spent a fortune on trying to find food he likes! I'm still waiting! He is very difficult to satisfy despite being an X-large coonie! He tires of food very quickly, so I end up rotating. Right now they are enjoying Wellness, canned, turkey in gravy, but he is actually eating the squares of food, not just licking the gravy! Previously, they would not eat Wellness! Conclusion...when he is really hungry he will eat not just lick the gravy, and he needs to experience more pockets of hunger so that he will actually eat! Also, being a very pampered boy does not help this situation!!! (my fault) My girl on the other hand is perfectly normal in this regard, despite being a Princess!!
