We got our Mufasa from a lovely lady called Pauline from a pedigree cat rescue in Nottingham! She's recently had 2 maine coon's and currently has one one that is reserved. It may be worth keeping an eye on her site for any others that come in. Mufasa was used to a small dog apparently. Here is the link:

    Hello!

Thank you for that link - we did previously apply for Slash but they didn't feel he was right for our home (house cat, dog, etc) and has said she will contact us if a suitable MC comed into Thorneywood rescue. I'm glad you found your lovely MC.

    Thank you.

Every inch of their fur on end.
Unfortunately the cats around here are not as lucky. :( Next door has 8 cats currently, in the past 3 years 4 of her cats have died on the railway, now all but 2 of her cats are house cats as she just doesn't feel safe about letting them out which makes me really not feel safe about letting them out as she is so cat savvy.

I have spoken to my dog walker about walking the cat too (if the cat was up for it) and she said she would love to so the cat may get some outside time.
