Today this story was in the Dutch news.
In the harbor town of Velsen (near Amsterdam) an elderly man died of a heart attack recently. He was a familiar face around town… he looked like a vagrant and people who didn’t know him thought he was one. But in reality he was a retired businessman who’d made millions by trading in sea containers. When the will was read it turned out he’d left his entire fortune, about ten million euros, to an organisation that cares for the stray cats in the harbor area. The organisation said they will use the money to fund various animal welfare projects.
