This might sound familiar but. ........ since Buddy entered my life I have according to my work colleagues become obsessed by him. So much so that I have now been challenged to a Charity Event where I am not allowed to mention the Furball or show any pics of him for a whole day. I'm gonna fail:shy: could you do it?

Oooh thats cruel, I could do it.......................if I lost my voice and left my phone at home...............oops failed already as the wallpaper on my work pc is guess what............my feline babies! (in my defence it will change when I go back after maternity leave but I do have pics of them with Freddie, so fail again) :shy:

So true, what is it about these cats that casts such a spell? There are only 2 of us at my workplace - I go on about the cats and she goes on about her kids, so it's a fair swap! I suppose that going on about one's kids is arguably more valid and interesting than going on about one's cats, but as I don't have actual kids, it's all the same to me!
As for people coming round, we have more visitors than ever, because they want to play with Larry....

I added one as my donation to the human kind,would much rather had stayed with four legged,didn't hardly ever join in with mums conversation "My son/daughter has...."but can't stop talking about the MC's,luckily daughter has a great sense of humour,she reckons that if she had barked {had dogs then} she would have got a lot more attention,only thing in my defence is she has grown up a very caring person,in part because she had to learn to fend for herself quite early on but also having to learn respect & caring of others before herself & that has paid off in big measures,as to people coming round to see the cats we have had strangers walking past come to find out what breed they are,perhaps we should hold open days to come & meet the breed...!
A "swear box" has appeared at work. £1 for the c word, b word or m word! Yep cat, coonie, Buddy, maine coone or moggy. I have written Kitten Fund in thick red marker on it :smile:
