Intrigued... Hope everything ok!
Now that's just teasing...I hope you're alright!
Sorry its not teasing. I have tried to post this so many times today but I keep deleting it.
Whatever it is, I'm sure you'll make the right choice over whether to post or not... I would suggest sleeping on it but I'm guessing you've already done that?
I am so sorry could a Mod please remove this thread as I really can't post. Think I need more time to think. I've replied and deleted sooo many times, so sorry
Big hugs, whatever it is. x
Cheat lol your cats read my cats FB status lol.
Right deep breath. Thank you all for pms and emails. I am working my way through them and will reply to you all individually.
Very brief what happened. Got involved in an animal rescue operation yesterday morning and there was a kitten that really needed some loving. I was torn between giving her a home (heart) and her medical problem (head). It was obvious that when she leaves vets she will need a lot of care. Buddy has only been with me a short while and if I homed Faith as we named her there was the probability that I would have to give up Buddy. I kinda know some peeps online who would have given him a great home BUT I can't do it. I have found a loving forever home for Faith but it doesn't make me feel any better. This is the very short version and when I can post the whole story I promise I will. You will need a box of tissues or a loo roll. I have to be careful what I posts there will be a court case.
Thank you all for pms I will reply individually tomorrow, there are rather a lot of them. Right, going back to happy threads with my coonie snuggled on my lap xxxxx
Will have box of tissues at the ready & I am sure we will be kept updated on Faith, just so pleased that Buddy will still be with his soulmate.
I know what it is like when your work involves animals I have bought a few extra furries home with me in the early days, thats how I got my first moggie & how
a rabbit joined the family in the end hubby said if I come home & see a donkey on the lawn then it will be a divorce only a couple of weeks after that I had to ask him if the answer would be the same if it was a horse...... It did join the family & we are still together x
I work with a VN and most of her family have adopted an animal at one time or another.........now she is not working in practice she has got involved with an animal rescue. If I hadn't got my pair by now she would have appeared on my doorstep with something that needed loving!
Through work I have taken many calls asking for diffrent products as the VN calling is taking something home and it needs a non stock item which we get in for them.
One of the reps I see clips rescue animals for her local shelter and god she has nearly had me in tears more than once, she has also had a couple of attempts to get me to home an animal!!!
Big hugs, that's a really brave and difficult decision to have taken. Don't think there's a right or wrong answer either!
XxX
I know I've made the right decision. I do not have the time or the money to give her the care that she needs. It has made me really think though and I am looking into another rescue older coonie as a playmate for Buddy.
I used to take in all sorts of animals, bit of a sucker for an animal with a hard luck story. I have a very good excuse for refusing now - my last hard luck story is still here, 12 feet long and still growing, eats furry animals. .... my python lol.
