Casper the Commuting Cat
If you are ever at a lose end for a book to read I highly recommend Casper the Commuting Cat by Susan Finden. I remember reading about this cat in the papers a couple of years ago and yesterday in serious need of cheering up my Mum gave me her copy.
From the start I cried laughing at the antics of the rescue cats in the book, Casper's own comments are in a field of their own. As the book goes on you just cant help falling into the true story and by the end ... well forget the tissues, a family pack of loo rolls is a must.
I can honestly say that this is the first time ever that I have started reading a book and not put it down until I had finished it! I have now started it again. Oh and there is a MC called Gemma in it (very sad story) with pictures.
If you can't get a copy and want to read it PM me and I am more than happy to post my copy around on condition that I get it back and that as proceeds go to Cats Protection you make a similar donation to them.
This book is a must read for any cat slave and has cheered me up no end, I will never get on a bus again without looking around to see if there is a cat going about his business x
