Thread: Anyone live in Republic of Ireland?

Hey!

I'm wondering if anyone on the forums lives in Ireland as I am potentially moving there soon for work and i have no idea about the cost of living there :P I've always lived in the UK so I’m uncertain about stuff (bad enough the euro to pounds conversion messed with my head) Really I’m looking for rough ideas on how much you spend each month on basics things like council tax, electricity, food and any other charges (apart from rent ofc) that I may not have considered/know about. I am potentially going to be working in Dublin so I will probably be looking to move to Dublin or within commuting distance so can you give any advice on where to live (I drive so I can live with commuting). Any advice you can give me would be fantastic! Thanks
