    Shopping !! yeah !

My daughter (Sarah) and I are going shopping on Saturday ! Now usually, cos I am a nice grandma, I end up buying things for Sarah and Brooke (my grandaughter 16 months), but guess what I am going to be Dylan shopping !! lol Going to get him some nice toys to play with and ofcourse his food ! Bed already here, Oh and cat litter storage box trays !! lol But as seasoned MC owners is there anything else that I can get to make Dylan feel right at home ?

All suggestions welcome because I am relying on you all to keep me right here !

Thanks in anticipation for your help and thanks for taking time to read.

the Snake! CatIt Senses Play Circuit For Cats Kittens Pets Play: Amazon.co.uk: Pet Supplies

this is Neevie's most favoritest toy in the whole world!
well, no, that's not quite true - she also has a lot of "sponge footballs" a bit like these Interpet Pet Love Sponge Footballs Cat Balls Toy: Amazon.co.uk: Pet Supplies - but of course they all end up under the furniture... so the Snake is the most favoritest when the sponge balls are under the furniture. Which is 95% of the time.

She has a lot of other toys, too, she has a pet dog (a stuffed toy dog called Aurora, coz that's what was written on the label) which she really spanks hard when she's frustrated. When she plays a bit too rough we bring her Aurora - takes the heat away from us... We make sounds like "Arara! Arara!" when she plays with it, and I have noticed that when we do that sound now, she seems to get it that we're playing.... and she calms down a bit.

Oh and the maze, of course, but the competition is not fair, coz the maze has food, so of course it's going to be favoritest even before the Snake and the Balls.

Other toys are much less of a hit. She does get bored very easily, and when she does then she lets it be known by jumping and grabbing my arm or just biting my feet or legs... so I guess that's toys too.

And something really cool that doesn't cost anything - paper balls - all my cats have always been crazy about paper balls - you just take a sheet of paper, A2 size, and just crunch it up, (while you do that, look at your cat's eyes go crazy) and just throw it for hours of fun chasing the thing accross the house! my previous cat (mini-coon Charlotte, RIP) even used to bring back the ball for me to throw it again. Neevie just pounces on it - and the only interraction is: she pounces, she hides, and I have to GO get the ball back and throw it somewhere else so she can pounce and hide again. Yeah. I don't know what that's about. Anyway, needless to say, the house is full of paper balls everywhere....
Oh something else: if you have a fire-place and you start playing the game with Dylan, don't ever throw a ball of paper in it from afar --> Singed whiskers... (Sigh.)

Lots of great ideas Alekto love the maze one that will keep him amused for hours, and ofcourse paper balls its like the kids at christmas who play with the boxes instead of the toys ! I am going to make a leap here and guess that paper balls and singed whiskers are something that you have had personal experience with !! lol I had a bit of a giggle when you said Neeve has a pet dog, i hope Teddy doesnt end up being Dylans pet dog, paw swiping in mid air !! lol The foam balls are a great idea to, teddy could bring them back if Dylan doesnt want to !! lol There could be a conflict of interest there !! lol

Thanks so much for your ideas Alekto they are much appreciated, and the giggle you gave me to x
