done their family tree ? Or would you like to do your family tree ? If you have how far back did you get and how rewarding did you find it ! It was always something I wanted to do and a few years ago I invested a great deal of time doing it ! I managed to get back to 1654 and was delighted to be able to get birth, marriage and death certificates (1854 onwards) and entries in church records for before that time. Certificates as we know them have only been in force here from 1854 so parish records were the place to go for this information before 1854 and they are such informative records in the parish books.

So tell me if you have ventured into your past and if you found anything that interested you that you didnt know about or if you found any skeletons in your family tree !!!
