A wee question !
Apart from Maine Coons what is your favourite animal ? It can be anything, wild or domesticated it doesnt matter, but you must explain why it is your favourite. For example if it was a Giraffe say, could it be its grace or gentleness.............oh you get the idea ! So come on tell me what it is...............it will say a lot about you you know honest !!! lol
Oh you might as well post you are here already !!!! lmaoChris X

tiger! tiger tiger tiger! they look big and powerful but oh to bury my hands in their fur and give them a big cuddle! I agree, it is just fantasy because in the real world it might end badly but still.... tiger!
oh yeah I like giraffes too, I fed one once in South Africa, it was great! though... a bit slimy (they have a big tongue they wrap around your hand to catch the treats... )

Dolphins! If they are not eligible then lions, tigers, koalas and pandas (lions, tigers and bears, oh my) are my favorites. I had a bit of an experience with an elephant which took them off the favorite animal short list. We were driving through a wildlife "safari" in Texas. We were allowed the have windows down (can you believe that?). The car safari came to a stop, an elephant came over stuck its trunk through the window. I was wearing shorts and after having my thigh "fondled", he/she blew elephant snot all over my leg. Sooooo gross! My husband and young daughters (in the back seat) laughed until they cried. Ha ha. We are going on a safari in Kenya in October with a group of friends. I am hoping I am not an elephant magnet!

Nice choice Alekto, tigers are just so magnificently graceful. Yeah and I think you should hold of on a cuddle if you ever meet one, it might not turn out the way you want !!! lol
So feeding giraffes in South Africa, that must have been an experience, I just think they are really nice, odd , members of the animal world !!! lolChris X

KimAZ dolphins are definately eligible ! They are just wonderful, intelligent and graceful I would love to swim with one. We have them here of the west coast along with Orcas and Minky whales ! Oh yes we have wild life here in Scotland to !! lol
As for the elephant, what can I say, just lovely. A friend took here family to I think Bali to an elephant sanctury and they had a wonderful two weeks with 80 elephants. Sorry about your snotty one, but I was laughing to when I read it !!! lol
As for the Safari you will be taking lots of pictures wont you, because sharing is as good as being there !!! lolChris X

It's a horse for me. Palomino to be exact.
My worst animal would be a camel cus they spit (even though their eyes and eyelashes are to die for).

Oh that is a hard one! I love all the animals that roam through my yard on a daily basis, today when I was walking around a nearby lake a baby deer walk past us and stopped to take a look at us. Today bunnies were eating seeds that fell from my bird feeders and they are pretty dang cute. But then there is the squirrels I feed field corn, they have pelts to die for and then of course the yellow finch, blue jays, cardinals and humming birds. I love them all so much I could not just pick one!

omg! around my parts I see bunnies and yellow finches but I would love to see blue jays, cardinals or humming birds! and deers! nevermind baby deers! I have never seen one upclose, seen them far far away as I was passing in a train! baby deers in my yard! we do have bunnies, or rather hares, in the spring - haven't seen them for a couple of months which is strange...
in the winter I saw a weasel just stopped at my window to say hi... so cute! so fluffy! wouldn't want my fingers to get caught in his mouth though.
Not even squirrels in our parts!

I think I'd want to be a giant African tortoise, an unusual choice I know, but they live for hundreds of years, imagine seeing the world grow and change that would be amazing, maybe I'd get to see the day where we have flying cars ;)
