Films of choice !
Just finished watching A Few Good Men, really love that film, but my favourite is Dances With Wolves. So if you have a couple of hours to sit down and watch a good film what would it be !

never saw A Few Good Men - I did like Dances with Wolves. My favorite film of all times is Amelie, with Audrey Tautou. It's a French film but it's been translated in English too.

Dances with Wolves was a really good movie. We ride our HD around them hills and it is so much fun! I do like a musical now and then, Funny Lady is so good and Omar Sharrif was such a hottie ;). I am now addicted to "Call the Midwife" I can not wait to watch season Two! I think I can stream it on my laptop. ahhh the life of leisure!

My favorite oldie but goodie - Dr Zhivago. Chick flicks - When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, Something's Got to Give. (Love Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton). Oh, cant forget The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith. Anything with Denzel Washington. Schindler's List!!! Another all time favorite, Life is Beautiful.

"Unforgiven", with Clint Eastwood. Not only because its action but it has a powerful moral message. "Its a terrible thing when you kill a man. You take everything he is and ever will be."
Then;
"The Day The Earth Stood Still" (the original with Micheal Renee)
"Chronicles Of Riddick" (guy flick)

Alekto I have never seen Amelie, well not that I know of, but something in the back of my mind says I recognise the name ! I have to admit I never watch films that have subtitles and I know there are a lot of french ones out there that have english subtitles. You are so lucky to be bi lingual, I just was hopeless with languages at school ! lol

aww I have been looking for an English Dubbed version of Amelie for you Chris but couldn't find one... - I was certain it existed, because it's been a little hit in the UK as well... but no...
I know what you mean, it takes away a bit of the enjoyment when you have to follow the written script as well as the action!
Kim, I'm with you there, anything with Will Smith (except I am Legend - didn't like this one - too dark) and Denzel!
To that I add my favorite actor is Tom Hardy - though I like very few of the films he plays in, again, too dark in general - I like his acting and... of course he doesn't look bad at all ;-))
