I know who you are talking about and Rick Parfitt was on my bedroom wall for years...well his poster. His hair was to die for, blonde, curly and lush. Enjoy and have fun. I last saw them about three years ago and yes, they were as good then as they are now!

Grew up through the 50s & 60s. Listened to my mothers music' Fabian, Dion, Everly Brothers, etc.etc.
Later years it was Beatles (of course), Santana, Black Sabbath, Chicago,Hendricks, Joplin, Doors etc.etc.
Now its roots blues, some jazz, some country and a diverse eclectic bag.

Don't have any idea who your speaking about

I remember when we used to listen to the oldies (50s) now the 70's are the oldies! Time sure flies, I really like most music except opera.

I think the only one of Status Quo I know is you're in the army now - status quo "in the army now" (video clip) - YouTube - it came out about at the same time as Top Gun and things like that, did it not?

so how was it Chris? did you enjoy the head banging? :-)

Hmmmm? Don't suppose you ever heard of the 'ROBS' there in 'Minny-sotie' (I think that's where you said you were?). A band from the Milwaukee area. Popular there for a short time in the 60s.

I know many of the ones you have mentioned there Whyemier, especially Black Sabbath and Hendrix, but I always hated the Beatles. Now dont ask me why but they did nothing for me !! Oh and if you have never heard 'The Quo' you have never lived !!! pmsl
