Oh here I am its after 1 am and I cant get to sleep ! I have given up counting sheep and decided to come on the pooter !! lol I think its the heat to be honest. I have the fan on but Teddy has decided to spread out over the bed and his body heat it making it worse !! lol Dont have the heart to move him !! lol
So what do you do if you cant sleep ? Does counting sheep help you ? Or do you get up and make a milky drink ? some useful hints might come in handy for future sleepless nights !! lolChris X

Yes, last night I slept with a very hot beagle named Rex, he was about a thousand degrees and I thought I was going to die. I got up and went into the family crawled onto the couch and cuddled with Penny and went back to sleep. Of course a cocktail and a boring tv show works too. Just enough chatter to distract my brain and off to sleep I go!

Oh dear, I feel your pain!
I spent all but 33 minutes of last night trying to sleep. The 33 minutes I did get? Right before my alarm this morning.
I agree with donnad, a bit of mindless TV usually helps. Music on really low, too. Although, make sure it's not a favorite album or particularly catchy tune, not being able to sleep at 4am and singing the same chorus over and over makes a really unhappy spouse.

My answer to everything, a double shot of bourbon. Hey, if you can't sleep at least be knocked out and unconscious.
