What the Internet Can See From Your Cat Pictures
Check out this article that was published in the New York Times website recently - What the Internet Can See From Your Cat Pictures. It warns about the dangers of location data (geotags) in pictures you take.
In a nutshell, if you take pictures of your cat with a smartphone that has geotagging turned on and upload them to the web, strangers can learn where you live by looking at the location data embedded in the photos. You can turn geotagging off or remove location info from pictures, before you upload them to the web.

Not surprising at all, all smart phones can give your location away already, they're GPS located.... Istagram, twitter and Facebook give your location away as well. It is not just about cat pictures but also selfies or any kind of activity you use the internet for (whatsapp and google give your location away as well).
