5 am and been for my walk lol....
She is amazing I must say, she picks up stick on the walk and tosses them in to the air, she is so playful and loving she went all night with one pee on the paper... and she came with me in the car yesterday to get used to it..
She loves her basket which she sits in when you tell her too, but most of the time she spends if we are in the lounge under the table on her blanket next to me...
She need to know NOT MY DOG lol.....

What a gorgeous little dog, I've got two 'monsters' here, our GSD is a nightmare when it comes to people/other dogs/wildlife but he adores the cats and kittens, when we were up at Summerdown, with no mod cons, he used to sleep in the same summerhouse as the cats, he had a green chair to sleep on and the cats slept on him! But a small dog is just so much more portable and they don't pull you over (are you listening Torak?)

Our new addition
[QUOTE=candes;13704]Congrats on your new addition. What a lil cutie! I like shitz tzu's a lot more than lhasa apsos. They are a zillion times smarter.
We have a client who always had lhasa's but after loosing the last one went for a shih tzu & she asked me what the difference was so I just said that I am sure in a few months you will tell me,whenever I see her now she always says she can't believe how much more character there is to them, how cheeky they are & like you said, smarter.People think they are lap dogs but it is only if you treat them that way, mine always went out for walks with the bosses & my friends dogs that included five golden retrievers, two labradors plus three terriers, Snoops & later with her daughter used to stay with them all the way,can always remember down the woods one day a lady was walking her shih tzus complete with bows when Snoopy appeared out of the lake with her companions & this woman just curled her nose up at the state she was in & politely said to me I can see there is some shih tzu in her what is she crossed with, gave me great delight being able to reply that it was all pure pedigree underneath the wet & mud....!

Thanks to all for you comments.
I have to say she is really a very special dog, she is not what we expected at all, I hated the Westie we had, dirty little dog she peeded and pooped where she felt like it no matter how many times we tried to train her! and the Jack Russels, where just constantly trying to get down the big dogs throats, but both where actually good with the cats.
Evie is indifferent, when they come to her she just puts her head down and they on a whole leave her alone but there is no spitting and fighting..
Yesterday I had to go out and by a flashing light for her collar finding her in the woods at 5am with her being black and tan is not funny lol..
Day 3 and no accidents at all in the house and this is the second night she has gone all night clean..
Having been owned by Rottweillers, Dobermans, Japanese Akitas and Great danes all my life... I am now totally smitten..
This is again the same for dogs as cats it has a lot to do with the breeder.
Evie is 13 weeks old, she does not let them leave earlier, fully vaccinated against all the dog diseases, and Rabies with a pedigree, 2 kitten packs, a bed, Amber had a choice of collars and leads, 2 princess bowls and many toys, she came with a 2 kilo bag of pedigree food which, we are mixing as we have decided to out her on James Well beloved. Plus I can get this also from my Royal Canin Dealer.
The puppy room was like a children's nursery, there were 2 big heat lamps, and one area only for the puppy's to go to the loo the rest was full of play mats and toys little couches and beds, they where very well reared. I would highly recommend her.
We will take lots more photos of her!! Amber is getting a wire basket for her bike, but I can see the weight falling off me already now with the many walks we have planned...
Time to see a bit of Germany through the eyes of a little dog...
Now got to save up for the dog licence when she is 6 months old 80 euros a year!!

I have to agree with you, no matter what the breed, you have to let the dog be a dog!!! ours will be off in to the woods daily, and if she stinks then she will get a bath lol... Amber said there will be no BOWS... going in this dogs hair she will have the fur around her eyes trimmed... lol

Evie helped us with the garden and cats this weekend and needed a bath!!!
She was in to everything and up to everything, this little dog never ceases to amaze us!!
I was even up at 6 am Sunday walking in the woods... First time to see a woodpecker who we hear all the time, pecking away at a tree next week I am taking my camera
