My Delphine
I feel like I'm cheating little Delphy by posting about all my other cats and not her!!
Delphy is my Cornish moggy. I wasn't intending to get her. It was 2007, I had just qualified as a nurse and had temporarily moved in with my parents while waiting for a flat to be ready for me to move into. I had Ibby and Minnie at the time.
My parent's cat was pregnant and had a lovely litter of 3 kittens. As a cat-lover I found it difficult to resist, but I though, NO...I MUST NOT HAVE ANOTHER CAT. Over the next 24 hours I made frequent visits to see the new little darlings. The day after the kittens were born I was making my lunch-time visit and had a little peak and counted 4 little heads...?? I called Mum who was out at the time and asked how many kittens Miffy had...the answer was 3. But there was most definitely a fourth kitten in the bed...she was black and had a little white cross over her face. Well, having discovered the little miracle I concluded that it must be a sign, and so Delphy became mine!
Delphy is a petite little cat. She is very shy but saves all of her affection for her Mummy!!

She's cute. And what a lovely story about her miraculous appearance in the litter.
How does she get along with your Coonies?

She looks full of mischief in the top pic, and the second one just makes me want to cuddle her. As for the one in the bag - trainee Coonie springs to mind

I am so excited. I have just witnessed Delphy having a mini-play with Poif with the use of a cardboard box!! There is hope. Haven't seen Delphy play with another cat since she was a kitten herself!
I think it's Poif. She is very patient and persistent. There's not a threatening bone in her body, she just really wants to be Delphy's friend so everytime she sees her she walks near her and just lies down. It's working!!

I know this is kind of an old thread but Delphy is so gorgeous I just had to comment! And such a pretty name too
How is she doing with your other kitties these days?
