Mad as in puppy and mum hasn't spent so much time training her She is pretty good on all the basics but can't take direction yet and won't hold her point - too impatient. Actually neither of them are that great at that - as they are HPR dogs they are meant to be good at all three but they're better at hunting and retrieving. Pretty sure Simba may be better at pointing - he goes rock still when he sees a bird in the garden Pretty cool to find shed antlers - we have lots of deer here but I have never seen any shed antlers - they are probably picked up by the gamekeeper.
Louis - are your Dalmations very lively - I do like them they look very elegant dogs I think, quite regal

Lets just say you have to have a sense of humer when out on walks, as Holly is always body slaming into us or other dogs & Ive been left sat on my bum a few times Banjo eventually gave Holly her a right nip on her side but he has osteorthritus & hip dysplacia she dosent bother him to much now so Im glad he did dont want him getting worse. They keep you on your toes though just clowns realy
They can be complete bandits though as are the other 3 we meet up with, but after an hour or so walk you dont see them till tea time unless Louie decides he wants to play with their tails

Poor you - so sad when you loose your pals - they just don't live long enough do they - but Sam lived to a good age and was obviously much loved. They do tend to suffer from hip problems don't they - a friend of mine has a 4 year old and he can hardly walk already and has had numerous operations to try and make him more comfortable. So sad.
Louis - their characters sound much like mine (my dogs not me) - thier nick name in the breed is Mad Munsters And yes I have been knocked over many times. Lovely picture of all those dalmatians playing together.

Took max over to my moms today i helped out on her yard work , she lives on the Wisconsin river so max and i played fetch with sticks , he is still trying to learn to swim right , he hasn't had much time to learn yet so i think we will go back over tomorrow , and play fetch again , ,
I think sense Eddie wants to get out side i will make him a out side run he can sit out there if he wants , so I'm going to go out and see what i can come up with , scratch my head for a wile and go Hmmm

Heather ended up with cancer , and it took her but she had a full life ,
Max is coming along well now , i seen Eddie go up to max when he was eating pizza crust , so it will not be long i think , although Eddie wasn't sure out side when the dog was running up to his new outside run with the ball ball ball ball ,,
But once Eddie See's max isn't running to him he is OK ,
I relocated my dog kennel to the back of the house seeing max is never in it ,
i just opened the window for now , until i make a cat door , i placed a branch for Eddie to climb up to the window , but he prefers to jump up, and down , until i get walks in there ,, but thats all i could do today as time ran out ,,
i think i will plant some climbing vines on top to it gives shade ,
But he was out about a hour in it , came in jumped up and said thx and ran up to the top of his platform ,, he like that also lol

Sorry to hear about your dog to Scrapdragon they realy do leave a big gap in life
Maybe there should be an Obituaries section on the forum.
Oh & Holly just stood on Louie's tail you should have seen his face Holly just looked as if to say "pay back"
