lol..... think there will be smoke again she is a dominant Tortie
Actually someone came to my home, Judge and breeder her self, and she asked me why I had not registered the Selkcoon, only declared them with Neocat, I said I can't register them.. she said you can with Tica, apparently I could have registered them as Selkirks and 3 generations on breeding of course they would have been selkirks again...
I didn't even keep any they sold as pets like hot cakes, I could not believe it.. dam I could kick my self now... but hey what you do not know and all that..
I am still holding out for a British mating lol, I would like to show her I keep Chanel did well at the Neocat show when I showed her!
but she is getting on now, she will be 6 in July and she has only had one litter of babies.. so might have to let her have her wish, or I get to keep nothing from her and that would be a shame..
We shall see... All I know is they where twice the size of as the Mainecoon kittens at the same age..

Aah, they're adorable - I'm with Chanel! And I still think the little red/cream (sorry, I'm rubbish with colours - I'm better when I can point and say "what's that one"!) is still my favourite. It's so odd that this has come up today - believe it or not, I was bored earlier in the afternoon and decided to look up Selkirk breeders; how odd is that?? And I didn't seen any kittens I liked as much as your Selcoons.

That is splendid news (the part about him healing, not having to chase him all over the place!).
At bedtime, we take Walter into our bedroom area and close the door so he can have access to his food all night (our other cats have to be strictly rationed because of weight problems). Sometimes, when it is time to get him in our room, he gets in his head that is play time and runs away just as we are about to touch him. I'm sure he enjoys it more than we do!
We've had cats for years and always did open feeding. Then we got a new cat who is quite the pig and an older cat started putting on weight. It sure is a lot more work than open feeding.

Chanel loved them all the time and that is what mattered...
The cream boy was the only none curly coated in the litter the rest all had Curls.
The Selkirk's have changed so much, I got Chanel in a swap with a Selkirk breeder who wanted to use my Chocolates in her breed programme. I cold have had one of the first ever imported to the UK from Austria, because she also had one of my Chocolate for her breed programme at the time I chose not to.
I like the all British look Selkirk Chanel is a long haired Selkirk which is a nightmare to keep on top of so I would like a short coated Selkirk from her to move on but we would need a British boy for that and she really does not fancy them!! I will give her one last try with a British boy this Spring if she calls and then well I give up!!
The pictures attached are Chanel.

Ah I see what you mean!
He was curly when he was born but when he left the curls had dropped like he needed re perming lol maybe you are right and its right at the base of the coat, I will ask his new owners.. for some new photos. See what he look like now..
The other all kept their curls whiskers an all...
