Amber is back in her bed, he has no worries and will fight all battles no matter how big they are he is so dam cheeky, Amber got a new Blackberry for Christmas and she has been boring her school friends with photos and video of the one and only Poseidon.:smile:

She is hoping but our Boy Jet is so secret, the only girl we have ever seen him mate was our Selkirk girl and that was through the window, when it was too late to stop him

I'd forgotten about them - no idea what they looked like when they first popped out but I think they're gorgeous little things. We toyed with the idea of a selkirk rex when we decided to get a second cat to keep Psycho company but I just couldn't be pried from Main Coons by that point. So a SelCoonie would have been awesome! I love the fact that you can spot some of the MC features in them, especially the creamy coloured one - powerful forelegs, ruff, eyes.
Like Antonia, I'm quite jealous too, but it's the cream one I fell in love with :LOL:

Aah, they're adorable - I'm with Chanel! And I still think the little red/cream (sorry, I'm rubbish with colours - I'm better when I can point and say "what's that one"!) is still my favourite. It's so odd that this has come up today - believe it or not, I was bored earlier in the afternoon and decided to look up Selkirk breeders; how odd is that?? We've had cats for years and always did open feeding. Then we got a new cat who is quite the pig and an older cat started putting on weight. It sure is a lot more work than open feeding.

The Selkirk's have changed so much, I got Chanel in a swap with a Selkirk breeder who wanted to use my Chocolates in her breed programme. I cold have had one of the first ever imported to the UK from Austria, because she also had one of my Chocolate for her breed programme at the time I chose not to.
I like the all British look Selkirk Chanel is a long haired Selkirk which is a nightmare to keep on top of so I would like a short coated Selkirk from her to move on but we would need a British boy for that and she really does not fancy them!! I will give her one last try with a British boy this Spring if she calls and then well I give up!!

No. The Cream one was the only straight coat in the litter the others all looked like they had a 70's perm...

He was curly when he was born but when he left the curls had dropped like he needed re perming lol maybe you are right and its right at the base of the coat, I will ask his new owners.. for some new photos. See what he look like now..
The other all kept their curls whiskers an all...

Poseidon is doing amazingly well, he really does not care about the fact that he only has 3 legs, he runs a round the house like a steam train, but he still makes me cringe when he jumps from the very top of one of the larger cat scratches to the ground, maybe this is because he does every think like a fairy elephant or maybe this is because the sound he makes when lands makes a sound like he has gone through the lounge floor in to the basement.
Here he is Last night, I was supposed to be watching Star wars, but I have seen it about 500 times lol so I got busy with the camera..
Poseidon is a very tolerant cat with all the other cats but no one takes the place on his mummy's lap but him lol..
He is doing well and totally not bothered that he only has 3 legs.... in fact he has not even noticed.... New photos taken today with Baggins.... and his slave Amber!!:satisfied:
Makes me want to cry,what a handsome happy boy he looks,eyes that melt you & with his slaves present around him,must have made all the anxiety well worth while,bless,give him a Jackie kiss & cuddle xxx
