Thread: Cat Door?

Hello Maine Coon Forum! I wanted to ask the group for a recommendation for an indoor cat door or pet gate. My son is coming to visit from out of town with his beagle for a few weeks and I am trying to find a way to allow the cats to get through the basement door to where their cat box is, but block the dog from getting through. My Maine Coon is large, about 22 lbs and, although I've looked online at cat doors and pet gates (one pet gate features a cat door option within the gate), I wondered if there is one on the market that others have used that will allow a large cat to go through but not a (40 pound, tall) beagle to go through. If anyone can recommend a model that fits the bill, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks so much!
