I ordered this and it came today. It looks so cosy and am really pleased with it. Hope Simba like it - I would if I were a cat!

That's lovely - thinking about getting that for the kittens when they are a bit more active as they love to have something to snuggle into when Mum is off for a wander

Size matters....
I am tempted to get one of these, yet im concerned it may be too small.I have read many reviews, all good, yet none that I can find that state they happily will fit a maine coon.
I have a boy, 16 weeks, would welcome some input to this (this paticluer 'model' is what the missus would like for the cat)
many thanks
J

We had one that our late China used to love but unfortunately none of the boys could fit in it as they matured,Bruce who is the slimmest could just get in but as he is so long if he tried to turn round the whole bed went round with him so he would just flop back in the same position ,think he got fed up with the laughs it provided, both the babes used it when they were younger but Shimba had to give up fairly early as he outgrew it & Welly gave up after trying a few times to reverse in when he became too big to go in the right way & turn around, got to give him his due he used his head &again provided us with entertainment along the way but because he couldn't snuggle in to full potential wasn't interested after that but all was to Chinas advantage because she had exclusive useage till the end.She weighed in at about 6kg & there always seemed to be plenty of room for her to snuggle down or move around in it.
Used to luv seeing her little head poking out of the basket & the fur cuddling round her,it was against a radiator so when it was cold you didn't see much at all, just heard the zzzzzzzzzzzz,s...!

Well i plan on getting a male so maybe not the best bed to get, although it would do him a while i suppose until he outgrew it. It does look super snuggly!

Cushy cave cat bed
I wish you could get a xl sized one because they all loved to have a snuggle in it when they were smaller,I had hoped Pansy P being half pint sized would take it on but I got the feeling she used to feel threatened when she was laying in it & one of the other cats popped their head in,also on occasions as Welly couldn't get in it he would jump on top & lay on it flattened for ages,a couple of times we did have to rescue Potter from inside as he never checked first to see if it was occupied so may not have helped although I never knew him to do it when China was in residence...!

Cushy cave bed
Must have hit the wrong button as thought I had posted these pictures a bit earlier,it is not a brilliant one of China in her bed as she was not the main subject bless her but it does show how roomy it was for her & how she could snuggle in,the second one is of Shimba laying in his hammock above the bed & I think you will be able to judge that at that point he wouldn't have been able to have got inside it,he was about 2.5 yrs at that point.
