New Kittens on Raw your advice please

    Hi,

I am going to be getting a pair of MC's next Feb and have been researching lots of things about them. I am definitely wanting to feed them raw food to give them the best possible health as I firmly belive that this is what they would natrually have and not the preprocessed rubbish you can buy.

Anyway I got a diet sheet from the breeder I am getting my MC's from and had a few questions about raw feeding them.

Now this is what the breeder will be feeding them:

    BREAKFAST:

Royal Canin No. 36 Kitten Biscuits (leave small supply down all day)

    LUNCH:

ROYAL CANIN Kitten Instinctive (half pouch increasing to a full pouch or as appetite dictates)

    SUPPER:

ROYAL CANIN Kitten Instinctive (half pouch increasing to a full pouch or as appetite dictates)

In the evening, feed any good quality commercial food (as above) with a high meat/protein content appropriate for the cat’s life stage, i.e. kitten food until 12 months of age. ‘ BOZITA’ is a very high quality commercial food and it is fully supplemented with vitamins and minerals. The pate variety in preference to the chunks variety. It can be purchased from www.zooplus.co.uk
Also cooked fish, cooked chicken or similar. Raw beef mince is also suitable, but never raw fish.
So my thinking is keep this diet up for say 3 days as the kittens settle then slowly mix in the raw meet into the Breakfast, lunch and supper until I am fully feeding them raw all day. I would then maybe have a bowl of Applaws down all day for them to have as and when.

Not sure if this is right at all so need some advice on what to do? Thanks.
