Pretty Proud of Our Boy...
Having suffered the indignities of having his show preparation photos splashed in other thread thought we would show him off on "Show Day"...
He done us & the MC breed proud,he got his certificate & then went on to get Best in Variety which was an added bonus,at the nomination for Best in Show he was the only MC up against Norweigan Forest cats & in the end were not surprised that it was given to one of them but today he was on top form, have never known him to be so well behaved at nomination time & from 10'o clock this morning other than when he was being judged he has just laid out on the table making friends with all the show visitors,Sam who was there with her stall said we should have charged for every photo that was taken of him, think it would have more than covered his day out,to finish the day off he was photographed by a local paper so will have to wait & see if anything happens there,my friends two boys were also being photographed on Sams Tigga Towers so fingers crossed one of the three might make it into print. The pictures of him being judged for his certificate are a bit distant because I didn't want him to see me & then get upset so I stayed well back but for the first time ever I did keep in the room for nominations,I have normally been banned by then for getting uptight & upsetting him, don't know what happened to either of us today, the other two are of him just playing with his mouse & showing off to the next adoring "fan" to come along for a cuddle of which there were plenty...
We were very proud parents today & so were his two nannies who have his sire & dam !

Pretty Proud of Our Boy...
Shimba says thank you for all the congratulations & if either him or one of his two friends make it into the paper will post it on here....
As to why he is so good just laying out like that I don't know,Merlyn was equally as good so perhaps he had a chat with him .I always feel sorry for people penned near to us as they must get fed up hearing me keep on repeating his statistics & what living with a MC is like but I also think its good that people can get to touch if they like, breeders couldn't allow that because of the risks involved & a lot of other people wouldn't like the idea either but I reckon mine are like street kids, pretty hardy so lets have fun.

Pretty Proud of Our Boy...
We have been given an email address of the photographer because we were told that he often submits his pictures to a cat magazine but just by chance went onto local paper Milton Keynes Citizen & guess whose face was looking at us ..... ? If you click on Shims there is a link into the cat show page which has another close up of him,I think that is better one of him he looks softer in the face, the silver boy laying on the "Tigga Towers"is my breeders neuter boy Kenzo, half bruv to our Merlyn,I just luv him.
