Encore cat food
I received a sample of this with my Ocado shopping a couple of weeks ago. I was very interested as it looked just like Applaws, but seemed to be a lot cheaper. I ordered a box of it last week and it has gone down a treat! I have googled it and it seems that Encore is the supermarket labelled Applaws made by the same company. It looks like it is available in Tesco, Sainsbury and Waitrose. If you feed Applaws, dry, pouched or canned then this appears to be the same but a lot cheaper.

Mine only get something like Applaws for birthday treat but if there is a cheaper version I will give it a go,also there is a retired gentleman comes into work & his cat will only eat the one brand so will give him the down as well, might make his pension stretch a bit further.

On further investigation both are made by MPM foods. Encore £4.31 in Tesco for 8 tins, Applaws £4.49 at Zooplus for 6 tins. It's still not cheap but you're getting around 2 free tins with Encore and if like the retired gentleman this is all the cat will eat that's not a bad deal! I didn't check out the dry food or the pouch prices but assume they must have similar savings.
