Smilla or Sanabelle??
I have decided on Bozita for wet, but im struggling to find a suitable interim dry food for Mousse that agrees with him. RC MC gives him terrible bloating and wind, yet Applaws gives him runny bums and boy do his deposits STINK!
I am about to place my order from zooplus but cant decide between sanabelle and smilla sensible? Any suggestions?
I know dry food isnt ideal but I dont want to make a cold turkey switch to wet. All raw food is being rejected atm so I need to think much longer term which means step 1 is finding a good dry kibble which he can stomach without problems.
TIA!

My furbabies have dry food sitting out all the time for when they feel like a snack. They used to have RC Maine Coon until I read about Sanabelle Grande on this forum. They took to this very happily with no ill effects.

My babies love Sanabelle Grande - they've had it for about 9 months now without any 'horrible' effects! However they are not keen at all on Smilla. Tess and Marco also like Hills Natures Best and Finn likes Bozita dry. Perhaps it would be worth getting a selection of the trial packs and seeing which Mousse approves of most ... and of course which food agrees with him too!

I'm interested in what other people's experiences are with dry - I know we've had a few threads on here before but I thought I'd jump on this one as we're on the subject!
Moonlight seems to have a particularly sensitive tummy - she gets wind and terrible runs about every 6 weeks or so. I'm convinced it's the food. We feed a couple of felix puches a day each to our 3 plus dry left down to free-feed. We've tried taste of the wild, orijen (both v rich), RC (when we first had them from the breeder), applaws and the latest is james wellbeloved. All start off ok then after a few months she gets the s***s! Is she destined not to have biscuits or is it just a case of keep trying? We swap them over gradually so it's not a sudden change in diet. They're all pugging at the moment as they're just on wet - but Moonlight's getting better, which is what I keep reminding them of to no avail! I'm thinking of trying natures best or Sanebelle.....don't really want to go down the 'raw' route as I'm veggie and couldn't stomach it!

48 Hours in to the bag of Sanabelle Grande and the trumps are back, as is the runny poo- and I mean with a vengeance! I'm at my wits end here, the trumps are now unbearable and I have to leave the room through gagging! Can anyone tell me if this is normal whilst he gets used to it or should I just scrap the dry altogether? I can persevere with it if it will get better but if this is just going to continue I'll just switch over to Bozita wet for all meals and concede that dry just doesnt work for him. Oh help!
