I have been feeding my 2 boys on raw meat and animonda carney since I got them and they 2 are just over 4 months old. I get the odd whiff but their poo doesn't smell that much at all, even when I am clearing their litter trays out. For the raw I use Natural Instincts which if your in the UK you should be able to find them online. The meat comes frozen from them and you do have to order 5kg or more, my boys go through around 6kg a month and that's £35 with delivery. I then feed them the animonda at lunch, once you have defrosted the raw food it keeps for 3-4 days in the fridge. I then get the raw meat out an hour before feeding so it's not to cold for them.

I also forgot to add I also leave Applaws kitten biscuits out for them all day and they have never had the runs at all, so I am disagreeing slightly with Alekto but I may just be lucky and my 2 boys have cast iron tummies lol. It may also be because the Applaws biscuits have no cereal content though.

Also what type of cat litter tray do you have? I have 2 covered ones with flaps and that contains the smell and the mess very well, I can give you the link to the ones I use if you want. Hope this helps :-)
