Thread: Broken Hip update for Moses

I wrote back in August that our 11 month old Moses broke his left hip. Our vet wanted to wait and see for 2 weeks if he needed surgery and then they redid his x-rays and it was obvious that he needed surgery. It took a bit for our vet to find us a orthopedic surgeon with availability. He under went FHO surgery end of last week. He is obviously in less pain and much happier. Not so much in love with his cone of shame but putting up with it without much fuss. He is still caged for his protection when we can't be with him. His brother is quite rowdy yet and can't figure out why he can't play. Quite grateful that he is in less pain and on his way to being back to his old self plus a limp.
