Quinn has two Mummies - and in a week and a half so will Aurora and Eden
Hello!
We are so excited. Weekend after next we are going to meet and hopefully take home our two new Maine Coon girls - Aurora (Geiko) and Eden (Glory). They are retired breeding Queens.
Aurora (currently called Geiko) is a blue tortie smoke and Eden (currently called Glory) is a brown and white tabby.
They are both currently on the carramazza website but after a lovely long talk with Pamela today she is very positive about our home set up and loves that we would like a pair of cats. She has suggested Aurora and Eden to us and Tara and I have renamed the girls already!
We are so incredibly excited! The only thing I am worried about is that she has around 6 currently available, two are not suitable for us but we will probably end up going home with four!
I don't think I can post links yet but google carrramazza, go onto 'our girls' and they are Carramazza Glory and Caramazza Geiko Mineko.
If anyone is looking for a Maine Coon to live on their own - the most beautiful Venus in Blue is also looking for a new home.
Eeeeee! So happy.
Tegan, Tara, Quinn and the two new spaces on the sofa ready for our girls.

Quinn should be fine - we have been cat sitting a lot for next door whilst she was doing night shifts (in exchange for her doing a bit of dog sitting when I was doing overtime) and that is 4 cats all at once in our house, he has had no problems and enjoys playing gently with the larger cats. Obviously at first the girls will have upstairs to themselves when we are out and Quinn will be downstairs, they will only be together when we are at home for the first few days at least, just to check there are no problems.
To be honest, I think Quinn will just be happy for the company. He gets walked twice a day with other dogs but we just haven't found the right dog to be his companion yet, he is very very submissive so really we would be looking for an even more submissive dog but one who isn't shy, which we just haven't found yet. :(
You never know, Freyja may mellow out a bit as she gets older and accept another cat and you can have a whole pack of them! Freyja and Wicca are incredibly beautiful - I especially love Wicca's grey mane.

You lucky thing what two super girls you have there & I just wish I was in a position to have Venus in Blue, another real stunner,I would think they are all going to be a big loss to the breeding program but there sure is going to be two spoilt girls soon....x

Jones came from Carramazza, Pamela is ace, and all her cats are amazing, proper taken over her house they have!
When I went up there I told her I was lucky I only brought the cash to purchase Jones, otherwise I'd have left with as many as I could get!
I'll have to check his certificate to see if he's related to either of them when I get home!
