World Record for longest whiskers ??? :-)
I think one of my cats could be a contender 15cm ish. She doesn't like the ruler tho ;-)

That will send everyone rushing for their tape mesures,I haven't been successful yet in measuring any of mine in any form,when I tried the length of a couple according to my readings they would have ended up half the length of most of the readings on here but perhaps even I could manage whiskers although what would have been my best one seems to have lost most of his along with summer moult so when they come back to full glory will give it a try...

I don't know :-) , I was only messing about. I just noticed Myrtles whiskers are massive this year, will post a photo soon. I'm sure this post gas got someone googling "longest whiskers"

Wait until you find one of them lying on the floor sometime. What is that you will wonder?? Ours do differ in both length and thickness among our four.

Read this thread before, but hadn't found one of Harry's until today when it was lying on the smoked glass coffee table and yes N Carver I did wonder what on earth it was and yes curiosity got the better of me and I got the tape measure out, 13cm although I can honestly say it isn't the longest he has, must be a year for large whiskers lol
