That will teach me to leave birthday present on dining room table, all innocent looking the other way, went outside to get photo of bruv playing in his play tunnel, few minutes later he was telling me that it was easy to get into the chockie box, only a couple of licks though...!

I can't believe it was Welly (no I don't favour any of your cats much); he was very obviously framed.

Love it! One of those pics that says 'I know it looks bad, but it wasn't me' !!
Did you take the licked chocolate out and let him finish it off, or did you chuck it away (or did you eat it, haha come on admit it!)

I know you think he is the bees knees catslave with his innocent sweet cheeky looks but just another little trick of his that will endear him to you even more, when I prepare their meals down the utility room in the morning I always "drop" a couple of the smaller biscuits behing the feed bins or bags that always manage to find their way in there knowing full well that Merlyn will be first in with me at supper time to hunt & find his prizes, what a look on that boys face when his big paw screwed up as tight as possible comes out with its reward, now nephew Welly doesn't go along with that game at all he just sits & let Unc get on with it but sometimes I put a couple under the units {kickboards not on yet but all jobs must have one part not finished in this house} Merlyn has to struggle a bit more for these ones, laying on his stomach he can't get under far enough, wide beam gets in the way,but by laying on his side & squiming & wriggling bit by bit he finally gets to that biscuit, somehow he gets his paw around it & wriggles back out then one by one opens each digit until that pure look of pleasure appears, got it,now at these times if I don't ban Welly from the room he seems to be able to gauge at which point Unc Merl has just about reached the target & he flies underneath unit grabs biscuit eats it & poor Merl has to wriggle out after a wasted trip, the look on his face makes you have to give him a cuddle but strangely enough out of the two nephews Welly is the one that Merl likes the best,I am sure it is because Merl appreciates the fact that Welly is a boy after his own heart, think stomach & you can't go wrong....!

Offered it to OH without telling him .....

No, I ate it with fingers crossed he hadn't just used the tray & cleaned himself, sorry everyone, still here today, couldn't waste it because they came from the expensive chockie shop up in town, could have let him eat it but then that could have been more expensive chocolate poisoning & all that with animals,it still tasted very good, one of those truffles that you nibble at & then drool, know what I mean....x
