say it got a bit warm & I don't know that Bruce was overly impressed being gatecrashed, relief when Merl decided to take over dads chair
instead, well to us anyway not the OH,he gave up waiting for it to be given up & went off to do some gardening instead,oh dear.....!

More power to Connies! We should not complain of being too warm , having back pierced with claws, giving up on chairs or couches (even beds),
putting off work to attend to their needs or being awakened too early. It's THEM who are kings, queens, emperors, etc., and our job is to SERVE LOYALLY to our masters. I don't think any human would make me tolerate this slavery, but my Coonies wrapped me up around their paws instantly.

I couldn't deny Samantha anything, when I'd drive her 2 miles to the groomers to get a butt shave and a bath she would cry pitifully all the was there and it would just kill me.
I learned form the girls at the groomers who absolutely adored her because she was so sweet and good while there that she was fine while there and didn't start to cry until she heard her Papa's voice when I came to pick her up.
She cried all the way home but once I open the carrier she was fine.
