Petition about road accident involving a cat
I was reading the sad posts by Musicalife and Fozzie and I suddenly remembered a petition I signed this week. I would not normally post such a thing however this is a subject very close to all our hearts.
The UK Department of Transport is being petitioned to make it a legal requirement to report a road accident involving a cat. This will bring the law into line withwhat is required for dogs, horses, sheep, cattle, pigs, goats, ass and mules.Make it a legal requirement to report a road accident involving a cat. - e-petitions

Signed ... a very, very long overdue petition - let's hope that the Government takes note and changes the law. Thanks for that Wivelspiker.

What a wonderful petition! Sadly, in America there are no laws regarding this, which is a shame! I've never lost a pet this way, but have friends that did, which makes the loss so much harder. Good luck UK-DOT!
