My Cat's Ancestry

I thought it'd be fun to see whether our cats look like their parents and grandparents. Here is Longfellow's family.

The pictures are as follows:

Longfellow at 6 months, 2 weeks; his father Hawkeye, a red tabby; his mother Juliet, a black smoke; his paternal grandfather Maniac, a cream tabby; his paternal grandmother Molly, a tortieshell; his maternal grandfather Silver Raine, a black smoke; and his maternal grandmother Evangeline, a silver tabby just like him.

As always, the Queens are absolutely beautiful! I love Juliet - very regal indeed! Unfortunately, we have no pics of Kota's ancestors, but actually saw his mom/dad. He looks very much like his dad, but finer boned and not as large. Both were silver macs with high-white, just like him. Unfortunately, his lineage is somewhat "clouded with doubt" (another story, another time). Would love to know what his g-parents looked like tho'. Thx for sharing!

Having adopted Mufasa I often wonder where he came from and who his ancestors are. I think I have worked out now why he and his sister were given to a rescue as kittens, and in the light of this I don't think I will ever find out sadly. :(

Wow, Stornie looks a lot like his mother! I have to say, Annie Lennox is one of the coolest cat names I've ever heard. She looks very magical in the picture too--like a character from Tolkien tale.
