An Introduction & a Kitten
Hi,
I'm new to the forum so thought I'd say hello, we lost our beloved Memphis Raines in November, ( I've posted a thread in the Rainbow Bridge section ), and found we really needed another Maine Coon to help fill the rather large space left in our lives by Memphis, my wife and I have a 9 year old son, they grew up together and were great playmates.
We went back to the breeder we got Memphis from, really thinking about perhaps an older cat that we could offer a home to, however when we visited there was one little kitten ( she has the same dad as Memphis ) who no one had chosen to take because she has a slightly deformed ear, ( we think it looked heart shaped.. ), we fell in love with her and brought here home with us, my son named her Harley Quinn, ( from the Batman stories ).
She's been with us since November and is now seven months old, very friendly, slightly crazy, and a real bundle of energy.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to hopefully contributing to the forum, and I'll leave you with a couple of pics of Miss Quinn, thanks for reading.
The day we got her:
and at six months:

She is gorgeous, look at those beautiful eyes. How lovely that she chose you. Her ear is so cute, I've never seen one like it. You are right that it is heart-shaped! Thanks for sharing, and look forward to more pics soon!
