We're home!
well, Neevie didn't react at all like in Spencer's video on our return...
first she saw us outside, and meowed and stretched for a scratch accross the window then ran at the door where she knew we were coming through.
We opened the door, and while I was carrying a heavy suitcase she tried to take its place by grabbing it and pretty much jumped in my arms as soon as I set it down...
After 2 weeks of lonely coon occupation, the house was looking very ... catty. So we had to clean it up and while HO was hoovering - which normally sets her off to wait in another room while the mean hoover roars in the house - she's not allowed to attack it, you see - this time she jumped on my lap on the couch and claimed some more cuddles, accompanied by her trademark thorough lickage of the hands.
Since we had to get up at midnight (UK time) to take our plane, I was rather tired and went to sleep at 6PM.... accompanied with a relentless coon who didn't want to leave my side... When HO came to the bedroom she gave a long "Meeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhhhh" that I took to mean "ooooh yessss everybody's home, all is back in its place, such blissssss"
In short, she's happy to see us.

we had someone coming to feed her twice a day - but she was being a Diva and attacked him when he passed the door.... well he said she did that 5 days out of 15, so all in all it's not so bad :-D a friend offered to stay with her but really Neevie is too .... unpredictable... I don't think our friend would have had such a good time....
